Hi, my name is Stephanie Mansour and I am the owner, creator and founder of Painted by Stephanie LLC. I am a professional makeup artist and licensed esthetician based in Metro Detroit. I am humbly coming up on 15 years of experience as an artist, although the beginnings were very humble.
I was exposed to the fascinating world of makeup as a small child. My mother was a makeup artist in the 90’s and I would watch her work in wonder and awe- it was as if her hands were magic. I always say, for an artistic little kid, getting to play with her kit was far better than any coloring book! My journey into this line of work began as a creative and passionate teenager working behind the curtain for theatre companies. It was there that I fell in love with the endless possibilities and the vision required to work with any face. The love affair with grease paints, molding wax and liquid latex took flight, and it has not come down since.
Since those early days, I have expanded my craft to makeup for special event, runway, television, stage, special effect, and photography- but my heart truly found its home in bridal work.
The ability to create for my job and having the opportunity to connect with incredible people everyday is a blessing that I am beyond grateful for. It is my passion and mission to create a safe environment for each client and help them feel their very best, whether it’s for a shoot, just for fun or for the day they walk down the aisle. Whether we are simply enhancing your natural features, going full glam-mode or embarking on a total transformational project, my goal for each client is that they feel their very best, most fierce self when they leave my chair.
